The Friends of Nolde Forest provide assistance with the educational, recreational, and historical programming at Nolde Forest Environmental Education Center and may assist with maintenance and facility improvements as requested by Center Staff. The Friends of Nolde Forest is a chapter of the Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation. Nolde Forest EE Center is not only one of Pennsylvania's 121 state parks, it also has the distinction of being PA's first Environmental Education Center operated by the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.
